Dear Sirs:
Please let me introduce myself:
I have authored technical books on ocean mining and on mergers and acquisitions. But now I am confronted with publishing a collection of some 500 invocations, or psalms. Some have described them as beautiful and meaningful.
My first reaction as an author is to publish. But, given the quasi-religious nature of these pieces, I wonder if they need review and/or approval, first, and by whom?
Theologians at a seminary where review occurs? Rome? Other?
Serious editing would also seem a propos. Some seem excellent, others are not as strong. Stylistics also would be useful to discuss, as the language often is somewhat biblical.
I wonder if you have a suggestion what a next step might be. Is there an office I should contact?
Thank you.
