Hi
The references from NTBible are not needed, as Jews don’t accept it, the question is asked for references from OTBible, as it were the Jewish Clergy who accused Jesus of claiming a false human Prophet.
Well, I wouldn’t say the Quran isn’t usefull nor even unspiritual but I will not ever believe an account of the past given from a purely intellectual being to a human. Also, Islam’s revelation fits a pattern that is manifest when spiritual realities are apprehended through clouded intellect. The pattern of the cloud will be reflected in the pattern of the twist placed on the Truth.

I respect your religion Paar, I believe it offers a means to seek the good of God for sincere seekers.

Peace to you.

Paar, are you saying here that the Jews would deny that claiming the power to forgive sins is blasphemy and a claim of equality with God or are you saying that the Jews would deny that it ever happened?Peace to you.
Hi

I think my questions were very simple, one who has read OTBible several times; and there would be many Catholics who would be reading a portion of it daily, anyone among them could answer it. I repeat the questions.
From paarsurrey:
In fact you have to tell us :
  1. the punishment of a false Prophet, from OTBible
  2. punishment of blasphemy as also definition of blasphemy, from OTBible
  3. punishment of claimant of deity, from OTBible
  4. punishment for adultery,from OTBible
Please quote from OTBible, so that the matter is clarified.
I think it is clear now and it is reasonable.

Thanks

Paar, you obviously have a point to make by asking this. I suspect that it will be impossible to find an explicitely expressed punishment for claiming equality with God in the OT. If so, the reason does nothing to prove that that isn’t why the Jews killed Jesus . It’s not a difficult leap to understand that if a person said the things Jesus said that the Jews against Jesus would see it as a violation of the commandment to put no other gods before the Lord. Which to a Jew would be blasphemy. If this isn’t the direction you are taking please accept my apology. If it is be prepared for the questions you need to answer.
