Puppet Master vs Free Will?

If you don’t know God’s will, what makes you assume that yours isn’t free? We were made for communion with God. Creations’s existence was meant to be a partnership with Him. Adam thought otherwise and human history as we know it, with both the good and the very ugly, is the result. Communion with Him in this messy life will always be far short of the Beatific Vision, which is essentially full communion with/knowledge of God. But here we start.

And we’'ll still struggle and doubt and fail and learn and grow closer and fall away and doubt and God can and does use it all-as He “cultivates” us so to speak. As long as we keep trying, keep asking, seeking, and knocking, and keep referring it all back to Him. Because at the end of the day our life and vocations here are temporary and relatively mundane -while He and His gift of life is eternal such that anything done with that end somewhere in mind, whether sweeping the floor or performing miracles, is right.

I have had multiple visions in my lifetime the Fatima prayer is true. There ARE souls who need it. I somehow suspect my paternal great grandma needs it.

One more question. How come there aren’t more saints? Ppl like us? How come our bodies rot while a select few don’t, if we all became saints that is?

It’s for God’s glory. This scripture points forward to when Christ comes and the dead rise for the last judgement… check out the full passage…

Ezekiel 37:1-14 New International Version (NIV)

The Valley of Dry Bones

37 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”

I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”

Yes, this is a good reminder, I learned this process from father Mike schmitz. Say you are about to cook a meal, do the dishes, or some other activity,
  1. Say Lord, help me be attentive to you as I do this
  2. Lord, be with me as I do this
  3. I offer this meal, work, to you as a gift to help save souls
  4. I accept whatever comes of it

I am, baptized Catholic. As a college student, there is little I can do to lead a holy life besides, pray, go to mass, and avoid sin and the near occasions of it.
Via your own very free will of course…

Get to know Jesus the Son of God - to the best of your ability - via e.g., His Gospel,
and Obey His Instructions/Teachings -
and in this manner you’ll receive Guidance from God’s Spirit
as you choose to align your will with His HOLY Will
