Almost unbelievable. The gyrating dancers. And what a novel use of incense.

Well, I made it to 8:16 … that was enough. What a freak show. I wonder where and when this circus took place? The puppets were the best part. And the gyrating dancers were a hoot. And what a novel use of incense. And of course glass carafes. How charming indeed. Well, it was good for a laugh. I’m on my way to the EF shortly.

How many more times is this video going to be dredged up as though it were a newly-discovered instance of yet more liturgical craziness? You think this hasn’t been posted here umpteen times already?

To be fair, the group here (Call to Action) is not in good standing with the RCC, and the members have been excommunicated in at least one diocese.

Still, it is sad to see this.

Call to Action is a seriously flawed organization - heretics of our current age.

Our parish is quite naive about this group and others.

Our Director of Religious Education (DRE) assigned as “spiritual reading” a book by Joan Chittister - a Call to Action leader. The audience here was the religious education board of directors. They ended up reading two books by Joan over two years. Need I say, serious heresy was contained within these books.

Beware of what is going on in your very own parish.

I must admit I have never seen anything quite like that ever before.

See now I thought that was very, very poignant and moving. I almost cried. Those puppets, they just have that affect on me, ya know? 😉

I got up late a couple of years ago and missed Mass at my parish, so I went to another one later that day, and saw a couple of CTA bumper stickers in the parking lot. I left and went to a later Mass at another parish lol.

What exactly is the mission statement (goal/calling) of this group?

LOL indeed. It’s sad this is still happening, it’s like trying to control a large group of misbehaving children. I’d say more but I’m tired from the RE Congress thread. Pray that ChurchTorch doesn’t find this thread. Sancte Michael Archangele defende nos in proelio…

Yea, they have a chapter in Louisville. I haven’t encountered anyone involved it it fortunately.

You can google them and find it. “,Call To Action believes that the Spirit of God is at work in the whole Church, not just in its appointed leaders.” That there is enough to avoid them. Heaven help the parishes that unknowingly let them infiltrate the parish council.

I guess I don’t see what your getting act…The Holy Spirit is at work in the whole body of Christ…We need to daily walk in His light/direction/correction and not fulfill the works of the flesh…The Spirit bears witness in us to cry Abba father…The peace of Christ to you…

Well, just google the group and make your own call.

This is the first time I’ve seen it.

I like the one remark in the comments section, “It’s where the wild things go to church!”

I don’t know how this can be considered “church” (little “c” on purpose). They sing (at the start) “male and female” but there are no men involved, all women and puppets. This is a play. “wild thing” is an understatement.
