I have been trying to purchase TB Lightning vs Penguins tickets for the past 20 minutes, and I must be doing something wrong? Does anyone here know how to do this? I want to surprise my hubby…otherwise, I’d ask him. 😃 I went to the TB Lightning website, and put in the info I want…but it keeps giving me an error message. Can someone here who is familiar with buying sports tickets, tell me how it’s done? I must sound really dumb. 😊

Honestly it could just be that their web site is down. Try going to a different website like Ticket Master. Or google the sports team you are trying to get tickets for.

what’s the error message say?

ha, now I feel really stupid! lol

I went to the TB Lightning site, then that site clicks you over to ticketmaster…and I plugged in ‘how many tickets’ and then also where I wanted the seats, and the error message page popped up…"sorry, no matches found.’ I mean, I just want to buy tickets…why is this so hard? lol :o  🤷

That probably means there are no tickets available in the section you have requested.

Try selecting “best available” and see what happens.

Personally, I STRONGLY DISLIKE Ticketmaster. Their surcharges, handling fees, and “convenience” fees are outrageous.
Any chance you can get to the Tampa Bay box office tomorrow? That would save you big bucks.

I think that’s what I’m going to do. I’m only familiar with TM, through buying tickets for the symphony and plays…It is so much easier than buying sports tickets! I will try your suggestion tomorrow…thank you!

I must say this is actually a refreshing post. The title looks like another thread about someone most likely being over scrupulous and here it’s really a thread about problems actually buying the tickets.

So after reading the thread, I must change my plea from “Oh, Lord not another one.” to “Oh Lord let her obtain her desired tickets and be able to surprise her husband.”

God Bless.

LOL–I needed a good laugh tonight. :o

😃

:signofcross: Forgive me father, for I have sinned. I bought hockey tickets from Ticketmaster…

LOL! Yeah, my sins are weird enough…the priest probably would be like…“Sharon, is that you again?” 😊 😃

LOL, my first reaction! I thought, is she buying them to scalp
other buyers, or is she purchasing them when she can’t afford
them…?

LOL–You people are too funny! Probably not the best title of a thread, right? 😃

Okay—Mission Accomplished!!! Woohoo:thumbsup: :extrahappy: …3rd row, center ice! March 3rd…GO PENS! He will be so surprised, because he knows I am not familiar with these things. Hey, I called the place directly, bypassing ticketmaster altogether…and I got the group rate, even for just two tickets! YAY!

Let me know if 3rd row, center ice is good. I have no clue! 😊

It’s like being on the 50 yard line at a football game. Or does that help at all?😃

Good job!!

If you like being close to the action it’s perfect. 👍

I think my ds and bil will be at the game…they are doing a Pens road trip.

Hubby loved his gifts yesterday, especially the Pens game tickets! They should be arriving tomorrow. I thought it was interesting that ticketmaster charged so much to mail tickets to my house, and ordering directly from the source (st pete times forum) it was FREE?! 😉 Thanks for your replies to this, everyone.
