I was wondering if anyone heard of PureFlix before? I wondered if it was okay to subscribe when everything is Protestant. Netflix is very liberal and this seemed like a good option. The only thing is all the movies are about Protestants.

So would you get it? The movies are good and talk about God a lot which is good. But then they always have a Protestant Church and service. I don’t know what to do, I have a ton of experience with Protestants. When I see that I don’t get a good feeling. As far as my kids are concerned they are very young all under 7. So they wouldn’t pick up on it anyway. They just watch cartoons for the most part.

I’m neither Protestant nor Catholic, so I’m probably not the person to ask. The reviewer I referenced said there were specifically Catholic items (like shows of Fulton J. Sheen) and specifically Protestant items (movies/documentaries honoring Martin Luther). Just a guess on my part, but it would seem Pure Flix is probably your best singular location to find pro-Christian family-friendly items for your kids.

I remember as a kid (4 decades ago!) watching Davey and Goliath, and as I look back I don’t think there was anything specifically Protestant about it even though it was created by the Lutherans. I would suspect that the kids’ programs on Pure Flix probably falls the same way.
