Yes we are saved by Grace. We strive for perfection, but when we get to heaven we are perfectly holy, no longer striving for perfection but truly perfect. What changes? We stride for perfection,we are all sinners saved by Grace. Nancy
But the Holy spirit does not. One of us has to have an incorrect or possibly just incomplete understanding of scripture.People contradict.
Respectfully, yours contradicts what Christians, Jews for that matter, understood about the afterlife.
Respectfully, I had, did and continue to do so. You have an incomplete understanding of the scripture if you think that only applies to this side of the grave. Not another person that is talking about something differnt read the whole 3 verses before it.![]()
What happens if you do not reconcile with your brother or accusser before you die? Do you think that person will go to hell?
I did not say you did.I did not blaspheme!
But what scripture does say is that “whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.”
What do you think "forgiven in the age to come means?
1Cor3:10-15 shows that especially in verse 15. You will be saved but as through fire. That means there are those who will be saved yet they have some dross to burn away. Where/when will this happen?that goes for you too!
You seem to be under the mistaken impression that I am using scripture to somehow personally accuse you of things.
This is not the case. I am giving you scripture that shows an understanding of purgatory.
God Bless,
Maria
