St. Paul said we must go through the fire to enter heaven…there can be no presence of sin to carry in there…

I am not into this thinking, saved, like you are saved at 30, and then backslide at 80, which I have seen former Christians become secular and have no faith—I do hospice.
I cannot believe you want to keep sinning, or rather, do not bother to refine your conscience and constantly seek to love God more–and then die and go straight into His arms…I don’t believe if you willfully want to keep sinning and thinking this cliche that I believe in the Lord so I am saved…
It contradicts the Lord who says only those who persevere to the end are saved…many are called but few are chosen…I am reading the life of St. francis again, and his testimony has so much a greater witness to me now, how much I have experienced of the world, and again, need to renounce all those that keep me from being with Him and possessing Him, and enjoying the inner freedom of Jesus Christ…a great contradiction to the Prosperity Gospel.
