Blessings and sorry about the length, but the WORD of GOD wrote it, NOT me, i just copied and pasted it!

So don’t put off till tomorrow what you could experience TODAY!!

SANCTIED : Greek> hagiazo 1. Set apart for sacred use, made holy and pure), consecrated. 2. Made holy, pure. 3. sanctioned as with an oath or vow 4. To grant moral sanction to. 5. Made useful by holiness or spiritual blessing. 6. Purified, cleansed form the carnal nature.

Jn. 17:17 ‘Sanctify them by Your truth. Your WORD is truth. I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their WORD.’

Acts 15: 9 ***…made no difference between them and us. He made our hearts clean when we believe.’ ***

Acts:20:32 ‘And now I commit you to GOD, and to the WORD of His grace, which is able to build you up and give to you an inheritance among all the sanctified."

Acts 26:18 ***‘To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of satan unto GOD, that they may receive forgiveness and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.’ ***

Rom. 15:16 *** ‘…for me to be minister of to the nations, carrying on as a sacrificial service, the message of glad tidings of GOD, in order that the offering up of the nations might/may be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.’***

Rom. 3:25,26 ‘Whom GOD has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that ARE PAST, through the forbearance of GODTo declare, I say, at this time, His righteousness ."

Rom. 6:22 ’But NOW being made FREE FROM SIN, and become servants to GOD, we have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.’

1Cor.1:30; 2:16 ‘But of Him are you in Christ, who of GOD is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption’

1Cor. 2:16 ‘But we have the mind of Christ.’
1Cor. 6:11 ‘And such were some of you, but you are washed but you are sanctified, but you are justified in the name, and by the Spirit of our GOD."

Gal. 2: 20; 3:27 ‘I am crucified with Christ, never-the-less I live, yet not I, but lives in me. For as many of you as HAVE BEEN baptized into Christ have put on. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ.'

Phil 2: 5; 3:15,16 ***‘Let us therefore, as many as be perfect be thus minded and if in any thing you be otherwise minded GOD shall reveal even this unto you. Never-the-less, whereto we have ALREADY ATTAINED, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.’ ***

1Thes. 4:2,3; 5:23,24 ‘For you know what commandments we gave you by the WORD]. For this is the will of GOD, even your sanctification [consecrated holy, pure]. And the very God of peace sanctify [set aside, consecrate] you [completely]. And I pray GOD our whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Faithful is He that called you, who also will do it.’

1Thes. 2:13 ‘But we are bound to give thanks always to GOD for you, brethren beloved of the LORD because has from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the Truth.’

Heb. 10: 10, 14; 13:12 *** ‘. . . we are sanctified through the offering of the body of once for all. For by one offering He has perfected forever them that are sanctified Wherefore also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered without the gate.’***

Jude 1: 24 ‘Jude, the servant of GOD, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by GOD the Father."

Rm. 1:17 ‘The just shall live by faith."

Now argument on those! Amen?

I prefer to read my Bible all at once, rather than chop little bits out of it, thank you very much. What are you trying to argue here?

Rm. 1:17 ‘The just shall live by faith."

…Amen?
AMEN! Don’t forget to read all the way through your Bible, however, or you might miss this:

James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Faith is more than simple belief; even the demons believe, and tremble! Faith includes obedience (Rom 1:5, 16:26). If you’re disobedient, you don’t have faith. If you have faith, and then become disobedient, you have lost your faith. God isn’t a slot machine that pays out and pays out with one flip of the lever. God is a Father, and you don’t offend your Father with impunity (or else you’ll wind up disowned - Rom 11:22).

Also, you may want to read some scriptures about how salvation is a process, and not a one-time event. You can start reading about it HERE.

For more Scriptural citations, you may want to check out www.scripturecatholic.com.

God Bless,
RyanL

Oh, that’s cute. Someone told him Catholics didn’t know any scripture and they’d leave Rome in droves if only someone could throw random verses at them.

Oh, the eternal optimism of youth. 😉

It is always helpful to actually say something rather than just quoting willy nilly and expecting people to twig onto your intentions.

The Word of God or logos is Jesus, not the Bible.

But wait, I thought that Paul said to “work out your salvation with fear and trembling…” 😉

Blessings dearest Edward George….

I prefer to read my Bible all at once, rather than chop little bits out of it, thank you very much.
First of ALL when anyone wants to STUDY the LAW they do what is ‘called” a Subject matter Study… The WORD of GOD is the LAW and the Topic of this Topic is “Purification!”
Since you might know how to DEFRAGMENT your computer by placing the all mixed up, scattered out unrelated “BITS” of into formation to some kind simulate alignment? Since the Basis of Study, the Topic of “Purification by the WORD of GOD” is so that the “BITS” of information can Prove to be of greater use for the purpose of the WORD of GOD so the WORD of GOD can PURIFY your soul!

If any soul is NOT Purified already, than that is the Purpose of this “written” subject matter (by the WORD of GOD not me) Study is to allow the WORD of TRUTH to “Purify” your soul! And one reason that you may have not entered into the realization of “Heart Purification,” is because you are Trying to do the study of GOD’s WORD “your” way…. “all at once,” instead directly in a “subject matter’ study, such as was posted!

Secondly You are Quoted as stating “What are you trying to argue here? Since I did NOT write the WORD of GOD (as stated at the Beginning of the Post QUOTE Blessings and sorry about the length, but the WORD of GOD wrote it, NOT me, i just copied and pasted it! than there is, as quoted, no argument!

Thirdly if you had read real care-fully you might have notice the words at the end of the Topic Post as stating QUOTE ”Now argument on those! Amen?
SO NO argument = no argument!

Since I did not Write the POST than anyone who disagreed with the Posted DEfragmented proof of which verses (among others) provide “Purification by the WORD of GOD,” (not me) those who would want to “argue” would be, in FACT, arguing with the WORD of GOD and not me anyway!

So again I have “no argument!”

Bless you via the WORD of GOD!

Blessing to you dear RyanL,

As NOT for an “argument” but as a thought provoking study of the WORD of GOD you quoted the MOST WONDERFILLED WORD Himself in James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.” Well now it is only the carnal mind, NOT the MIND of Christ, who would say one thing in one place and say the opposite in another. GOD or the WORD of GOD never contradict HIMSELF anywhere never, but a carnal translator could have? Examples . . .
  1. Rom 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
Since Abraham was NOT justified by works when did HIS GOD, who never changes, began justifying “by works?” Answer: HE did NOT change, and since never changed, than no one is ”justified by works” No one!
  2. Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
  3. Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
  4. Rom 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. The translated words worketh not, = Does NOT work!
  5. Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
Please notice Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law”
Please notice the wordage of for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Since there is no innocence of the still unpurified, as all impurity of the flesh is not justified, than the TRUTH is that *** no flesh be justified. by the works** of the law*
  6. Gal 3:11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.”
  7. Rom 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
  8. Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Cntinued on next post because of “limits set here.”

Continued
Now when you have more proof of NOT being justified by works, and only one or two verses to attempt to prove the opposite than the we would, out of the MIND of GOD, HIS WORD, that we do not do things to be justified, but it is only ”by faith are we justified in the WORD of GOD! AND since we are NOT justified by works (our doings) but ”by faith” and that “works” are ONLY the proof or evidence of the justification completed, and not the way to justification itself by what someone does but rather what they so NOT do, than we can conclude that Heart Purification is NOT by ”works” neither.

When it is understood correctly that there is only “justification by faith” and it is completed “by faith” and since *** “sanctification is done by faith”*** also, than unless as “justification is a process” (which it is NOT and never will be,) than “sanctification or Heart Purification” is NOT a process neither!

Examples: 1.2Th 2:13 But we are bound to give thanks always to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: “Belief in the TRUTH is not done by anything but “by faith.”
2. Act 15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. And the words purifying their hearts by faith. equals that Heart Purification is done not by “works” NOR is Heart Purification is done by a “process” (which is surly the lack of immediate faith) as GOD inspired the words ”purifying their hearts by faith.”
3. As you so kindly quoted, Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
A. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: and to be *”the righteousness of God”can only be accomplished by faith to faith” To have attained “by faith’ the righteousness of GOD by faith to faith and that “righteousness” is the same as achieving ”sanctification by faith or the same as “purified hearts by faith” and “justification by faith” and NOTHING for GOD is done by a “process,” but working out the lack of faith in the TRUTH of the WORD of GOD!
4. Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
A. WOW the ”righteousness of GOD by faith of Jesus Christ AND that did not say the faith IN Jesus Christ but that said the by the faith OFJesus Christ” which certainly means ”by HIS faith” and not what the unsanctified teach, as done by “OUR” faith but by the ”faith OF Jesus Christ”
5. Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness that He might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
A. To declare, I say, at this time His righteousness which are only those who “believeth in Jesus. FAITH again!
B. the words ”at this time equal NOW and not a “going to be later down the road a ways” or in the “great by and by.” or “doings we do,” but by the ”faith OF Jesus Christ”
6. Rom 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
7. Rom 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
8. Rom 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,” This again said ….
righteousness without works,”

9. Rom 9:30 *What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. Or heart purity ”by faith” and there are NO “righteous sinners NO NOT one” only “righteous saints.”
Code:
All done ***BY Faith”*** in the WORD of GOD and NOT by a “process” of unbelief! So please do not listen to anyone who has not had the ***“faith of Christ”*** to be ***”purified their hearts by faith”*** and who themselves are still “working on righteousness” or Purification by **“their works”** who have taught you the lie of “the process of works” to live godly, here and NOW by the **“faith in the WORD of GOD!**
Please just “have HIS Faith.”

E.E.N.S.:
Here are many more “BITS” for you to use, bloodsanctified:

Thank you very much the “bits!” Always happy to have someone share out of the LOVE of the WORD!’

blessing to you also,

WOW?
Did you just make up that lie by yourself or did you have proof of that aweful statemant?
And why would anyone, say such a lie without the proof to show, to back it up?
Never said such a thing and never will.

Bless you!

Courtneyjo:
You forgot John 6.
Blessings Courtneyjo,
Never forget any WORDs from the WORD of GOD because I do NOT rely on my own underatanding Prov. 3: 6 And those with the MIND of Christ within them, can’t forget any WORD of GOD, but they who rely on “their own understanding” can’t understand how any one else could be so reliant or dependent on the WORD of GOD, for their sanctification as to Live by the WHOLE WORD!
AND live by the WORD and for the WORD and nothing but the WORD = no reliance on the “self” for anything!

Ps You could have cut and pasted John 6, instead of just refering to it as “others” might not have a “bible” to see what you are refering to. Unless it doesn’t have this certain Topic contained therein! (not a question!)

so are youa Christian or a Biblionian?
I conceder Jesus to be the WORD, but maybe my reading comprehension is a bit off.
In the beginning there was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

Silly me, I always thought we needed to stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter… (2 Thes 2:15)

Oh by the way, how you you know that the bible is inspired?
