Purity ring ... Blessed before i wear it ?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place feel free to move -
Anyway my problem I was wondering I got a purity ring for Xmas and it only came today and I tried it on for size etc so I was wondering should I have it blessed by a preist before I wear it fully if u see what I mean ? My preist is away for the next week or so should I wait untill he gets back or wear it anyway and just get it blessed when he gets back ?

I’m pretty sure it’ll be quite alright to wear the ring while you’re waiting for your Priest to return so he can bless it. 🙂

Why not go ahead and wear it, and then get it blessed by the 1st priest or deacon you happen to run into?

I dont see why there would be any reason you couldn’t wear it until it has been blessed!

Good for you for your commitment to your future bride!
 
Not really to do with this thread I know, but, remembering all your past posts, Chuck, I have to ask - have you contacted a priest yet with a view to starting RCIA, , and are you still attending your Baptist church?
 
@paperweight - hi no my preist says it to late so I will when it starts again and I do go back to the baptist church but I’m only gonna go once a month from now on to say hi .
