Putting off giving money to charity for penance

It’s been about 4 weeks now, so does that make the entire confession null and void? For my next confession would I have to repeat all the previous sins in the last confession? How much time does one have for doing penances?
 
Your sins have been absolved with the original confession if you were truly contrite. However, choosing not to perform penance is a new sin in itself that needs to be confessed. I would also reflect on the reason spend time to reflect on the reason of such a refusal.

Did you agree when you’d give the money at the time of your confession? Do you *have *the money?

If you are just being lazy and/or not wanting to give the money then that is one thing. But if you don’t have it then you can’t give it until you do; but you ought not to be spending that money on anything frivolous.
