Some things in life are bad. They can really make you mad. Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you’re chewing on life’s gristle, don’t grumble. Give a whistle! And this’ll help things turn out for the best.
And always look on the bright side of life. Always look on the bright side of life.

If life seems jolly rotten, there’s something you’ve forgotten. And that’s to laugh and smile and dance and sing. When you’re feeling in the dumps don’t be silly chumps. Just purse your lips and whistle - that’s the thing

😁 Whistling is one thing I do everyday ,not always to the amusement of the cats and my children ,and if the mood is extra good, handstands and dancing and singing .
I like your verse!
Something I find can change a mood successfully is to make yourself smile, even if you’re absolutely not feeling like it (or laugh)
Recently I was feeling morose ,turned on the radio and danced and my mood changed completely .(music has a big impact on my moods)
The instant you wake up ,the mood you can create (with God) can affect you’re whole day .
Usually before I open my eyes I say the morning offering, and thank God for everything there is to be thankful for,to take care of my family and friends.Sometimes it’s rushed, sometimes I forget, sometimes it’s half hearted.

Well, it’s Eric Idle’s verses. But it gives me a smile when I’m down. I left out the more cynical verses.
