LDS still do believe that there is human life on other planets, and that while Earth worships our Heavenly Father, other galaxies etc would have their own "Heavenly Father’ and Savior, and that it repeats on and on. If a faithful LDS is “exalted” to the highest heaven after Jesus’ return, they can become gods themselves with their eternal spouse and have offspring into eternity…these are deeper doctrines that aren’t taught until much later in the LDS faith, if at all explicitly.

The sun/moon thing is explained away as a product of the times…but as LDS believe that whether from the mouth of the Prophet or the Lord it is the same (as Joseph Smith said in a revelation, documented in Doctrine and Covenants), it’s confusing doublethink when they say they don’t believe these things anymore…this would mean their prophets were false.

Which goes without saying.

I recall reading (though I can not find much reliable evidence of it) that early Mormon leaders (I think it may be attributed to Joseph Smith, but I think someone else said it) that there are men on the moon that dress like Quakers. What is the origin of this?
Perhaps its because the moon is made of cheese, and they like cheese.🤷

Such foolishness, deserves no better IMO:o
