Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today is the Feast of St. Louis De Montfort, April 28, and some of you may have already consecrated yourselves to Jesus through Mary, praying the Act of Total Consecration taught by St. Louis. Not everyone is aware of “The Association of Mary Queen of All Hearts” website begun by the De Montfort Fathers, in Bayshore NY and the opportunity to gain the Plenary Indulgence today as a member of the Association. For more information, see HERE.

Even if you have never read St. Louis De Montfort’s classic treatise on “True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin”, you may be interested in browsing through the material and appreciate the artwork on the website. I had made my Consecration many years before I learned of this Association and wrote to them to see if the Nun who introduced us to St. Louis De Montfort had perhaps enrolled us. The person whom I contacted told me she searched the archives but couldn’t find my name for the date I’d given even going back a year and forward a year or two in case I didn’t have the date exact. She finally concluded I had not been enrolled but offered to enroll me on the date I thought I had made my Cosecration and she sent me a beautiful certificate.

I encourage anyone who is interested in coming closer to Jesus through Mary, to look at the website and see if God is calling you to this Total Consecration. If you have made it already, I urge you to renew it today and enroll if you are not already enrolled in The Association of Mary, Queen of All Hearts, and gain the Plenary Indulgence today (under the usual conditions).

Happy Feast of St. Louis De Montfort to everyone!
Mary, Queen of All Hearts, pray for us.
St. Louis Marie De Montfort, pray for us.

Dear friardchips, Magdalena and Catholic Fireman,

Thanks so much for your replies and greetings on yesterday’s Feast of St. Louis De Montfort – great champion of Mary our Mother. How grateful I am to God for giving him all the graces he needed to write and to live his treatise on “True Devotion”.

By God’s grace and the intercession of Mary, may we too honor God by honoring His Mother – living on this earth as she did, by the power of His Holy Spirit, growing in faith, hope and above all charity.
