Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today on this Feast of All Saints, I cannot but think of Mary, our Mother Who is Queen of All Saints! How the Lord truly “has thrown down the rulers from their thrones but lifted up the lowly” as Mary tells us in Luke 1: 46 - 55:
“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord
my spirit rejoices in God my savior.
For he has looked upon his handmaid’s lowliness;
behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed.
The Mighty One has done great things for me,
and holy is his name.
His mercy is from age to age
to those who fear him.
He has shown might with his arm,
dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart.
He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones
but lifted up the lowly.
The hungry he has filled with good things;
the rich he has sent away empty.
He has helped Israel his servant,
remembering his mercy,
according to his promise to our fathers,
to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”
Mary, our Mother most holy, pray for us to be meek and humble as Jesus. Show us how to learn from Him as you and all the saints have done, that we may become the saints we are called to be!

Mary, Queen of All Saints, pray for us that we may soon be a people who see the Lord face to face!

Dear liturgy96,

Thanks for your reply. The Mass refrain today for the Responsorital Psalm blessed me as well and I was happy to see those words in your prayer to Mary: “that we may soon be a people who see the Lord face to face”.
Responsorial Psalm PS 24:1BC-2, 3-4AB, 5-6
R. (see 6) Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.
The LORD’s are the earth and its fullness;
the world and those who dwell in it.
For he founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the rivers.
R. Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.
Who can ascend the mountain of the LORD?
or who may stand in his holy place?
One whose hands are sinless, whose heart is clean,
who desires not what is vain.
R. Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.
He shall receive a blessing from the LORD,
a reward from God his savior.
Such is the race that seeks him,
that seeks the face of the God of Jacob.
R.** Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.**
