Question About A Formed Conscience

Hello:

I know from the Catechism that the Church teaches there are 5
intrinsically evil issues:

abortion
embryonic stem cell research
active homosexual lifestyle
euthanasia
cloning

Now in evaluating candidates and to judge who might be the better good, then I was wondering, does embryonic stem cell research trump abortion because of the greater amount of destruction in terms of numbers and also, this will probably lead to cloning ?

Also, how bad has our country become as more and more states
want to do embryonic stem cell research ?

These are five non-negotiable areas whereby all are equally intrinsically disordered and condemned by the Church. So any candidate adhereing to any of these issues should not be elected in any office. The five non-negotiable issues you cite are just that so none will “trump” any other…teachccd
