Hi all,
I recently signed up to walk in a Memory Walk for Alzheimer’s disease. I have planned a goal of raising $200, and some friends have already contributed (yes, including fellow Catholics).
One friend wrote to me and suggested I check to see if the group that sponsors the event (Alzheimer’s Association) supports embryonic stem cell research. I went like this:
I never even thought to consider that.
So I tried Googling and haven’t found anything definitive one way or the other. The walk is this Sunday, and some friends have already submitted their online donations through the walk’s website. And I have no idea what to do
I really have no idea where this group stands on the issue of embryonic stem cell research, and I’m having trouble finding out. I just wanted to sign up for something that seemed helpful to people, and now I’m scared about any underlying implications.
If anyone has any knowledge of the group or any advice for me, please pass it along. I’m stuck
