I was on another traditional website and the group seemed up in arms about the impending Sainthood for JP II.
Something about a heresy concerning predestination.
Can anyone here enlighten me on the basis for the claims.

There is nothing to object to and no one has a right to object.

Traditional what? Traditional anti-Catholics? Any claim that John Paul II taught heresy is obviously nonsensical. That is not to say that he did not have many critics. The Church has always been under attack.

If you want a specific answer then you should provide a specific claim.

I have no idea what this predestination concern is about, but Saints need not have been free from error. Error is not the same as heresy; heresy is the willful and persistent rejection of Church doctrine. Even some of the Doctors of the Church have erred in some of their theological work. That does not make them heretics, or undeserving of recognition as Saints.
