Question about confession and confirmation

To start, i was baptized Catholic and have not been confirmed. (Plan on it though) I have commited mortal sins do i still need to go to confession or is it only after i have been confirmed.
 
You need to go to confession regardless of whether or not you’re getting confirmed if you are guilty of mortal sin, so yes, you must before you are confirmed.
