Question about confession and our new pastor

What do you do when your parish gets a new pastor? I have always gone to our pastor for confession, but he is being transferred. I’m a convert, so I have never had this situation before.

Go to the new one for confession
I guess I am not seeing why this would be an issue

You can choose a new confessor. If you want to go to the new pastor you can or you can go to another priest (even in another parish). If your old pastor is in reasonable distance you could continue going to him for confession. It’s completely up to you.
