Question about Douay-Rheims

Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but:

Why are names of books different in the Douay-Rheims? Is this simply a matter of translation, or does “Paralipomenon” have a special meaning?

The DR is an extremely old translation. Every English Bible back in the day had different renderings for the names; “Elijah,” “Elias,” “Eliza,” et cetera. Eventually, every Bible started consistently rendering them all the same; “Elijah,” “Noah,” “Cain.” The Douay-Rheims predates that consensus.

The Douay Old Testament followed the GREEK manner of spelling Hebrew names. The Vulgate from whence the Douay-Rheims was translated, had done this earlier.
