Question about Fatima

There is so much written about Fatima, but I can’t seem to find the Church’s standing on the subject as of today … anyone with information, it would be most appreciated if you could share same. Thank you.
 
Fatima is an approved series of Appparitions. Pope Francis will be in Fatima May 12 and 13 to celebrate the 100th Anmiversary of these Apparitions.

Pope Francis has granted Plenary Indulgences for the Anniversary, and just approved a miracle of the two younger children. This makes probable their Cannonization very soon.
 
I’ve read varying accounts of the three secrets of Fatima … was wondering specifically about them, and what the Church is teaching with regards to them.

Thank you for the information about the miracle of the two younger children … I was not aware of that.

I’d recommend starting with this CDF document Pope John Paul II had released on this topic.
 
There are some who questioned why Popes John XXIII and Paul VI did not do what was asked and it fell to Pope John Paul II to obey Our Lady.

I am glad he was obedient and was blessed with a long reign as Pope.
 
The three secrets have all been revealed. A couple of requests by Our Lady of the Rosary at Fatima were

Consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart,
Five First Saturdays from us, in an act of Reparation,
Praying the Rosary

The older Child, who lived until 2005 was authored in books. Some available for download. Google Sr Lucia and pdf for some of these.

Fatima is 100% Vatican approved.
At my Cathedral we are bringing in a statue of Our Lady of Fatima on the 13th May , and each consecutive month till Oct 13. To allow people access to the Plenary Indulgence. And to pray for Our Pope , the clergy and the intentions of Our Lady, and us.

It is also a great opportunity to focus on approved Apparitions. Dare I say it. 😇

And can I take this opportunity to also mention another approved Marion Apparition where Our Lady requested praying the Seven Sorrows Rosary. A good Rosary for Lent, I feel.
Our Lady of Kibeho.
This Apparition to schoolgirls in Rwanda pre massacre late last century. A few of those involved, and I believe the site of the Apparitions, were annilhated in the Rwandan Massacre.
