We all know that while engaging in sexual intercourse with one’s spouse, the male must complete or “finish” inside of his wife. Now, what if the male cannot “finish”?

For example:

My wife and I had a weekend getaway. The first night, we had intercourse twice that concluded with me “finishing” inside of my wife. Early that next morning, my wife wakes me and we have sex again. This time, after 2 hours of trying, I cannot seem to acheive orgasm.

Have I commited a sin?

TMI, my friend! :o

But, no, you are not required to try for hours if nature is not taking its due course. The key is in not deliberately frustrating the natural design of the act.

2 hours?!

It’s not a sin if you physically can’t do it. The key part is your intent.

Sorry for the TMI!

Thanks for the responses. I was hoping one would not say, “Why are you having sex more than once a day with your wife?”

No worries. 😛 Occassionally, reading through these sexual morality threads makes me blush a little. 😊 😉

I would never presume to tell a man how many times a day he and his wife can enter into the marital embrace. 🙂

I can’t see how you did. Given the ahem frequency and amount of “recovery time” not being able to finish is normal. A man can only go so many times in a short amount of time. Then he needs to recharge.

sigh The things we learned in grade 12 bio class.1

Why are you having sex more than once a day with your wife? Sorry, couldn’t resist.

I concur with the general drift of the responses so far. However, I have a follow-up question. If this has occurred a number of times, and the couple begin to understand that the second day action is inevitably not going to conclusion, at that point is there now a difference? One now begins knowing from past experience there is essentially no chance of completion.

This is kind of piggybacking off of what curiousIL said but Im kind of confused. So every time a married couple embraces, the man has to ‘finish’ inside of his wife? What if the wife doesn’t finish while they are together? Is the husband allowed to continue until his wife finishes even if he doesnt finish again?
