You can certainly add whatever observations you want to the Creighton method, but a)your instructor will remind you every time you admit to it that it isn’t part of their system, and b)there really isn’t any room on their charts for more than their info. I love the TCOYF charts because there is lots of room for notes.

I am not in a position to use bbt right now, where I used to use stm, so learning Creighton in detail is very helpful to me. However, I do think that the only practical way (correct me if I’m wrong!) to know for sure if a woman has ovulated is by the temp shift. If I didn’t ovulate, I have a double or triple peak with never great mucus, and then a very early period. ** But I have no way to confirm when I really did ovulate.**
This is why I use all three fertility signs to track my cycles. I don’t know Creighton specifically, but I Pay attention to my cervical mucus. I check my CM and my temp every morning, and then I double check those two by checking my cervical position. I use the cervical mucus and opening signs to tell me when I am fertile and the temp to tell me when I’ve ovulated 🙂

OP, good luck with your Creighton method classes. I would recommend TCOYF, just for extra knowledge. She really goes into a lot of interesting stuff, in my opinion!
