Hi Everyone,
Well basically I have couple rosaries, which I use on a regular basis. BUT since I use them alot and the beads are hard (I have never found a rosary that comfortably suits me) SO I decided to make one myself from wool, which would be soft.
To make it a bit easier, I’m thinking of excluding the 4 beads that hang above the cross. (Partly because I pray over and over and having that bit, dangling around distracts me).
So basically, I’ll be a complete circle with 54 knots (5 decades) and 4 separators or whatever they’re called, and that loop will be directly connected to a cross. No 4 beads and cross hanging.
So will a priest be reluctant to bless something like this? Or will they do it? I mean I’m making a custom thing to help me in my own prayers, so I do not see why they might not want to… Anyway please advise.
Thanks
EDIT: Lets say I wanted to put 80 or 100 beads on, will a priest still bless it?
