Question about Muslim worship service

I am in a discussion regarding the actions of the Catholic Church in Belgium regarding Muslim illegal immigrants. The Catholic Church in Belgium is housing Muslim illegal immigrants in their churches. They are there on an indeterminate basis and basically, literally live in the church.

The Catholic authorities have provided a worship space for them in the church since if they leave the church grounds, they will most likely be arrested and deported.

I support the action of the Church authorities on the basis of basic human kindness. There are those who oppose the action because they believe permitting non-Christian worship in a Catholic church desecrates the place. I argue that Muslim worship is only prayer, and prayer to God cannot be considered a desecration.

But I am wondering —

What are the prayers that Muslims pray during their worshp service? Is there anything in the usual Muslim worship service that can be considered anti-Christian? I know that your holy books refer to Jihads against heathens(?). Does the normal Muslim worshp service make any specific claims against Christianity?

Our prayer is generally focused on God. We praise him and mention the testemony of faith . That there is one God and Muhammed is a prophet of God. We recite verses fro the Quran. Depending on the verse you are reciting. I dont really think anybody there is praying for Jihad against their shelter really . Nor would i think they think of any sort of Jihad at all . Theya re probably nominal muslims who want a better life in Europe.

What most important here is that you aremaking an impression on them by your charity . Weather they convert or not or whatever happens… at the end you built good relations with them. People will remember you and yr church with good memories.

I am not supporting or advocating sheltering illegal immigrants. what i am talking about mainly is the aspect of ‘‘sheltering’’ in general. Its a charitable noble aspect. Weather they are muslim or other… if that is what yr church do then may God bless you and your church sir.

We as Christians/Catholic & let’s throw the Jews in there…( but this thread nor is the one I attached is related to Jews"… do not recognize mohamad as a prophet.

Shahada confession of faith islamic **1st **of the 5 pillars of islam & muslims which start off their confession of faith.

La ilaha illa Allah wa-Muhammad rasul Allah.

There is no god but allah and muhammad is the prophet of allah.

Also, these muslims which were taken in by the Catholic Church, have posted “allah” banners and other islamic banners all over the Catholic Church.

Also, these illegal muslims that this Catholic Church took in, have covered the Church’s Altar and other Catholic items.

Why isn’t the islamic muslim community taking care of these illegal muslims…???

I dont live in Belgium and i dont know exactly the whole background of this story. Brussels journal is a known anti immigrant site any way .

If they are a mess … just call the police and kick them out .

Based on that you wrote, I came to the conclusion that you did not read the threads & the news articles…

If you read the articles, if the Catholic Church puts these muslims out on the street, the authorities will arrest them & send them back to where they came from.

These muslims do not want that, therefore the Catholic Church is protecting them by keeping them inside the Church walls.

I already know that without reading the articles. So what ? … why is the church helping them? The church doesnt have an obligation towards helping them really . Specially if they are a roudy bunch . better they learn a lesson of respecting their hosts . And the police can go into the church or a mosque or any other place they like really .

Not only they are there illegally but also bieng disrespectful then they should be kicked, This is not bieng ‘’ uncharitable’’ from the catholic church .

I dont mea to neglect what you recommend to read. But frankly somethings ahve pretty obvious soloutions i dont feel like delving heart and soul into the, As i said before… the site you mention is a very well known anti immigrant site in Europe… so its credibility is in Question and the whole situation seem to have more into it than what the site says. Believe me the admins of this site would be the first to report teh church and the immigrants to the police and in Denmark before… some Iraquis also lived in a church and the police draged them out and deported them . So i dont understand what the fuss.

I ma a believing muslim. If a church hosts me … then i will be respectful and thankful. Thats how i am raised and thats how my faith teaches me. So i assume they are ill mannered bunch or they jnow nothing on Islam really .
