Can anyone recommend any trustworthy websites where my family can join pilgrimages or travel at discount rates? How is it so much cheaper for Catholics to travel than other groups? There are 4 of us, 2 adults 2 children. We’d like to visit Florida as much as possible and starting next year travel the world. What is the least expensive way to do this?
Thank you,

A pilgrimage is a journey with a specific religious purpose; often to a religious locale (ie, Rome, Jerusalem) or to another locale during a Church-related event (such as Toronto, ON or Sydney, AU during past World Youth Days).

Going on pilgrimage is not a priori cheaper than other itineraries; usually what happens is that special group rates come into effect, as there are often groups of 40 or more.

Florida is not usually considered to be a place of pilgrimage. However, should you decide to go on pilgrimage to any locale, your diocese or Archdiocese will have at least one agency that specializes in this type of travel.

God Bless and ICXC NIKA.

Although this is an old topic:

I have found out that there is indeed an historic Catholic shrine near Saint Augustine, FL; so you could, in fact, go to Florida on pilgrimage.
