Question about pornography stats

I’m preparing to help with an apologetics class in my parish, and need to know about how pornography is effecting culture and the Church. I am afraid to do an internet search of “pornography statistics or information” because of what might pop up! Does anyone know of a reliable, Catholic or Christian site that could provide me with this information? I tried the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Focus on the Family without much success. Thanks!

This will give you somewhat outdated numbers (2005-2006) that are nonetheless scary:

Either is a good start, neither will take you to the wrong place. This is a huge problem, and it is growing rapidly.

One thing I thought was interesting was the countries who have actually banned porn are all either Muslim nations or Communist. In either people aren’t allowed the freedoms to choose we are here in the US… including the Freedom to Worship God as we so choose.

Sometimes freedom comes with a price we never expect to have to pay… and that price isn’t easily paid without novel thinking, hard work, and a lot of prayer.
