When you pray for something, is it common for God to start making it happen before you even ask because he already knows you’re going to ask?

Jesus told us we need to Pray. Jesus gave us the example by praying himself. My suggestion , pray for a greater love of GOD and to be a better Catholic in his service and see how many more of your desires come to fruition. Give him what he wants and he will no doubt give you what you want.

Nope. You must pray for it to happen. That is a common misconception that people have. God needs the spark of your prayer in order to help you or solve any problem that you have. As we all know, God cannot interfere in your life if you don’t want him to. The reason for this is because here in our earthly life we have free choice of anything and we’re not obligated to worship God. He respects your freedom and therefore, will not force you to do anything such as praying to him. Once your prayer has reached heaven, then it is up to him to figure out what to do.

7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened

Passage Matthew 7:7-8

God already knows what you’re going to ask for in the sense that he already sees and knows all your problems from heaven. It is then the choice of the individual whether or not he wants to seek the help of the Lord and allow him to help and solve the problems.

6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

i have learned not to ask first, but to submit myself to God’s will. then at the end of my prayer i ask God if He can include in His will what i ask for.

Of course it will be Gods will to help and solve all your problems. Just follow his commandments and try to live a pure/saintly life and he will listen to you. He always wants to help and to always be at your side.🙂 For this is Gods will:

16 Always be joyful. 17 Never stop praying. 18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.👍
