What does it take for one to enter into the priesthood of God?

hmmm… what do you mean by “take”?
a question like that is best answered by a spiritual director…

Just passing, the question you ask requires discernment and direction.
Basically what it “takes” is first and foremost a definite call from the Lord to that way of life and when that called is heard, it requires prayer and deepr discernment to see if it is genuine and after that sometime in seminary still praying and discerning and all the time under the direction of a priest, and then following a time in seimnary and if it is a genuinine call from the Lord, it requires your response.

Perhaps it is prudent to ask first if you are talking about the priesthood of all believers or about the special priesthood (those guys that stand behind the altar, hear confession etc. 
)
