Question About Providing Catholic Support for Military

Administrators can move this but since I have been posting on vocations and Non Catholic religions, I am not sure where this belongs.

Does anyone know where I can write to get some Catholic material (preferably free) for support of Catholic military personnel. Unit Chaplains may or may not be Catholic but you try to be of service to all military personnel. For example, links for some rosaries or Catholic prayer material would be helpful.

my pastor is in the military. When he deploys every year he asks us to donate $10 long distance cards that he can distribute to wounded soldiers to call home.

We usually take up a special collection just for the phone cards.
 
Thank you for asking this question. I will bookmark the site.
My son is now on his 2nd tour of duty at sea; Persian Gulf area, and he cannot access web sites. He has recently become re-interested in Catholicism, and I copy and paste articles or parts of articles he might need and send it email. Some of the info has come from this forum!

He is due to return in August, and I hope he will become a regular church-goer and tune into Catholic Radio.

Please pray for all in the military. It is a hard life, esp. for those on the ground.

Yeah we are going to miss him… he just got transfered to another parish, last Sunday was his last mass with us. Every time I talk to him he asks about my brother in the Army, when my brother came out for my wedding the priest and him became friends. Last December my brother came out just for a visit and went to see Father then too… I guess they have alot in common. I hope we are still going to do the $10 phone cards when he is going over there…maybe new priest will let us do it…
