Hi all,
Yes, although Jesus was to be born from the line which Rahab was part of, I have a wonder about something.
As Rahab was asked to protect the spies and military of Israel, why was it acceptable to God that Rahab completely violate His commandment against lying? This is very confusing to me on so many levels but, just to scratch the surface with the most obvious, why was Rahab’s lying acceptable.
And yes, if this opens up a whole plethora of other interwoven issues, please proceed with whatever can of worms this question and subsequent answers opens.
Thanks
