Okay, many of you know I finally did my first confession 😀
Now I was wondering what all will be going on Saturday night when I am finally confirmed? 😀

SO many readings. 😂 And your first communion, which is a very special moment. God bless you!

When you to to Mass next, arrive early and read the Easter Vigil in the Missalette.

We actually sent a Missalette home with everyone who will receive Sacraments at the Vigil so they can know ahead of time what will happen. It is easier for a person to enter into the beautiful liturgy if you are not sitting/standing there wondering “what am I supposed to do now??”

If your parish does not have Missalettes, then, maybe go online and watch “Easter Vigil at a Catholic Church” videos.

Mass will begin outside, unless there is a big storm, where the Easter Fire is lit. You will process into the Church in darkness.

It is the most beautiful liturgy of the whole year!!!

Not necessarily. Some who have been baptized in the Catholic Church and received their First Holy Communion have, nevertheless, not been confirmed. For them, the Vigil becomes the opportunity to receive their third sacrament of initiation, having already received the other two!

@IAmBlessed2: have you been participating in any preparation program with your parish’s catechetical team? If so, then they’d be a wonderful resource for you, at this time, to reach out to and ask questions of!
