There is the question of whether we’re allowed to sing the Gloria and Christmas Carols for Simbang Gabi.
YOU ARE ALLOWED to sing both for Simbang Gabi. The Vatican gave permission for the Gloria and Christmas Carols to be sung. Even if it’s Advent, Simbang Gabi anticipates Christmas. Simbang Gabi Masses are festive.

It looks like you have both asked and answered the question. (Did you have another question?) If the Vatican gave permission, that is good enough for me!
