Question about the Eucharist

i was[and still am] so angry with him, even though i don’t know whether he has possibly arranged my current situation as a chance for growth as it’s a real test.

Every problem that we go through in life, as long as we presist, we’ll get through it.

We may not come up with the most appropriate answer but by our experience we will be enabled to offer our assistance to other people who struggle through the same need.

My prayers are for you in your life conflict.

Let the problems become an encouragement toward greater faith and a deeper connection with the Trinity and the communion of saints.

Thank you very much. I have received treatment for depression and it does help my mental health but when i’m spiritually crippled it affects my body and mind aswell as my soul. E.g. I’d find it harder to make wise decisions and concentrate, have less energy, insomnia etc.

Prayer for me is just absolutely central for my inner peace and healing; not only for me but in my ability to help others, which is a great joy.

I know my current situation will probably pass and things might seem better; it’s just getting through this with patience and fortitude.

I do hope God can hear me.

I’m a bit confused about the Eucharist. I believe it is the greatest gift Christ gave us, but I feel like the Church almost uses as something to hold over our heads. Jesus wants everyone to come to him, just as we are, even with all our sins and burdens, so that we can eventually become more like Him. But the Church tells us to we can’t receive Him unless we are in a state of grace. Wouldn’t receiving Christ in our sinful state help us to overcome sin. I believe going to confession is important, but nothing is quite as powerful as Christ himself.

God is infinitely holy and sin offends Him… if we receive the Eucharist in a state of mortal sin, that hurts Jesus so much. It literally causes Him pain. Why would we do this if we love Him? this is not only what the Church teaches, but Jesus Himself said it to various people like the Saints.

Keep in mind that Confession is a Sacrament too… we also encounter Jesus there, and there, He helps us to overcome sin as well. Confession cleanses us so that we are pure… and then we can go to Communion and Jesus would give us more grace. But if we receive in a state of mortal sin, - not only does that hurt Him, not only is that yet another mortal sin, but also it prevents us from receiving grace.

God can’t co-exist with sin… yes we can come to Him as we are, - in Confession. In the Eucharist, if we receive Him with mortal sin, - we can’t unite with Him… so imagine Him being in us but unable to be united with us… that is pain both for Jesus and the soul. He wants to forgive our mortal sins first… and that is in Confession.

Now as for venial sins, yes the Eucharist takes those away.

I notice a huge difference in my Communion when I come to Jesus with a more pure heart, vs attached to sin.

Please allow the Bible to answer this for you:

**Matt.5: 48 **“You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect”.

Because God is Perfect Union with Him requires at least no Mortal sin which effectiverly BLOCK our personal relationship with Him.

Evidence of lies in the FACT of why God created PURGATORY. No One can or will enter heaven until all sins have 1. Been forgiven and repented 2. Even the “pay-back” caused by sins have been paid for.

Rev.21: 27 "But nothing unclean shall enter it, nor any one who practices abomination or falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life."

Matt.19: 17 … " If you would enter life, keep the commandments."

John.14: 15 "If you love me, you will keep my commandments. 21 “He who has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

It is dear friend a mtter of a "more perfect LOVE that God seeks… We freely choose to Love God or Deny Him through our freechoice actions.

Jas.1: 4 “And let steadfastness have its full effect,[means avoidance of Grevious sins] that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”

John 20:21 Empowers the Church with the actual Power and Authority of Christ **Himself. Mt. 16:19 ** Places ALL ACCESS to heaven [the key’s to the Kingdom of heaven] with His Once Church… the CC.

**John 14 and 17 ** Provide the warranty of Her Teachings on ALL issues of Faith belief and Moral Issues. ONLY the CC has this assurence of God’s TRUTHS!

God is because GOD MUST BE fair and Just. The opportunity given to Catholics to meet God truly present on earth is of such Esteemed Value; that it MUST include requirements of Worthy Reception.

Here my friend is the Biblical Foundation for the Churches position:

1 Cor. 11: 23-29 1Cor.11 Verses 23 to 29

"For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. *** Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of profaning the body and blood of the Lord. So it is the INSPIRED assistance of God DIRECTING what the Church Teaches.

Go to Confession often my friend it’s a source of GREAt Grace and make the GREATEST source of GRACE available to us…AMEN!
