Also, the fact that a lot of people are not going to understand this type of arrangement is one reason why people would generally keep it to themselves if they were doing it.

To be clear, I’m not judging it. It’s not my business how couples order their sex lives. If it works for them and the Church is cool with it, you’ll get no flak from me. Just saying I don’t get it. But, since I am not the Pope or anyone’s spiritual director, no couple has to care what I think.

I’m not prying into anyone’s privacy, I just wanted to know the reasons for it as I didn’t understand why it was done (the same way I understand celibacy and marriage). Yesterday, someone asked the question in a group I belong to and a priest explained it more or less (as we are reading Story of a soul).
