What does it mean when the priest says “pray brothers and sisters that my sacrifice and yours may be pleasing to God”?

Does it mean our personal sacrifices we offer up united with Christ’s infinite sacrifice?

I think he is talking about the sacrifice on the altar, the Eucharist.
 
We are able through the grace of God to combine our offerings - everything we do, our set backs our struggles our work our joys our sorrows, with the Sacrifice of Jesus to the Father at every Mass. And this is one way that we can give more at the Holy Mass. Every time the offering goes up I askGod to also acceptt my puny contribution, asking Him to convert it to good for the benefit of others in the world.

Notice what has happend in the Mass beforehand when he says this. The offering has been brought up. The gifts of bread and wine have been brought up to the altar. Our petitions just have been given. The priest is not talking about the Eucharist here, he is talking about the gifts that have been brought up, our “sacrificing” of ourselves too to God, and etc.

That part of the prayer is part of the prayers over the offerings or gifts.

“The Pray, brethern, that our sacrifice may be … and the response made by the people complete the Preparation of teh Gifts and invite the assembly to participate in a living, conscious, and active manner in the major parts fot he Eucharistic paryer that is about to begin.” - pg. 34 Celebrating the Mass by Alfred McBride, O.Praem.

It is not referring to the Eucharist. That is what the Eucharistic Prayer is for.

By the way the changes in the missal tha t are coming this Advent are important.

With respect to this invitation to payer by the priest. The “our sacrifice” is being replaced with the construction “my sacrifice and yours” which conveys slightly more particular meaning, as the sacrifice of the priest is characteristically different from our sacrifice.

It is. I like the new wording. Only the priest offers the Sacrifice of the Mass, the Holy Eucharist, not the people.
