I always wondered when reading the Bible about the desendants of Noah aftert the flood. Because i am reading about a lot of sons that were born to him but no daughters. If there were no daughters how were they able to find wifes and multiply. Maybe my question is stupid but i really want to know if there is an explanation to this. Is it that the daughters are just not mentioned?

Okay, I am no biblical scholar whatsoever, so hopefully other people more knowledgeable than myself will post here- but from what I can remember of scripture, Noah’s sons were already grown up and married by the time the flood came around, thus primed to have children or they maybe already had children. It says in Genesis 8:7- “Together with his (Noah’s) sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, Noah went into the ark because of the waters of the flood.” Does that help with your question at all?

This was not my question. I know they had wifes. The question was about the sons of the sons, the grandsons, the great-gransons. Where did they found wifes?

The sons must have had daughters, as well, and as with most ancient documents, women are rarely mentioned. Um, yes, there had to be daughter-son marraiges.
