Question about the rosary

Hi y’all,

So are we suppose to follow the specific days in which we pray the rosary? Like Tuesdays and Fridays are Sorrowful mysteries day. Does it really matter? If so, why? Just curious. Thank you!
 
You can, if you want to be in solidarity with others. But no, it’s NOT at all necessary.
I pray the Sorrowful in much more frequently during Lent, for example. You can develop your own habit.

I don’t think so. The first Tuesday after Easter we prayed the Glorious Mysteries at our church at the request of our priest.

Surely it is more important to pray - without worrying which day we do what?
 
The days to pray specific meditations on the mysteries of the Rosary are a suggestion.
 
It’s only a suggestion. I pray the Sorrowful mysteries about 99% of the time myself.
