I was reading 1 Timothy 3:15 to see what it said about the church being the pillar and bukwork of the truth. Can anyone please explain what it means when it defines churches (local) and (visible) and (true) in the references. In this one sentence it makes reference to the visible and local church. Is there not one church? So which church is the pillar and bulwork of the truth? The notes say that the church is seen many different ways in life today with different denoms and govt and that it is with in those where the truth is. is my church the one that is the pillar or is it my neighbors?
