He knows that. He is just trying to figure this stuff out as he goes along.GeorgeC… I see in your blog that you are in RCIA. If you are not Catholic yet you may not receive communion.

Oh OK… I was wondering if he wanted to visit another parish for the sole purpose of receiving communion…He knows that. He is just trying to figure this stuff out as he goes along.
Exactly. I was asking a hypothetical question. He knows that. He is just trying to figure this stuff out as he goes along.
And there I was, thinking that everyone was noticing my shinier halo.Parody alert:
I would not worry about it. As soon as you are baptized or convert your info is entered in the secret Vatican database and you are going to be recognized as a Catholic wherever you go. The Vatican also keeps a database of all the protestants in order to round them up when the time comes. I know this to be true because Jack Chick says so.![]()

In defense of others, I have been talking to you on and off for a few months. The other posters probably don’t have that advantage and therefore don’t realize it’s hypothetical. Us Catholics take Holy Communion very seriously so we always want to make sure Christ is received worthily!Exactly. I was asking a hypothetical question.
Isn’t that done by retinal scan now?!?! There’s an alarm that goes off in the parish office or rectory when a non-Catholic enters.Parody alert:

That’s the way I took your post. I was just commenting to put others at ease. If I didn’t know his circumstances, I would have posted the same thing.Exactly! I sure wasn’t slamming George C… I was concerned
I agree. I’m not insulted in the least. I was just asking what the proper protocol is in the event I need to attend Mass at another parish.Us Catholics take Holy Communion very seriously so we always want to make sure Christ is received worthily!
