Hello,
Is it wrong to expect and request that one be treated fairly and in a straightforward manner at work.? Does this violate " turn the other cheek ? "

I don’t think so, as long as you are not looking for ways to get offended Standing up for yourself is not a bad thing you can still do it with humility. Just think how much sin you can help other avoid by asking them to be nice to you 😃

It is wrong not to treat one fairly and in a straightforward manner at work. I would expect it without having to request it.

Turn the other cheek is not a submissive role but one of strength for just such an occasion you are asking about. Yes, I think you should speak up boldly and if ‘slapped down’ then you should turn the other cheek and not return the violence but keep your peace. Chances are it will not be denied but if so continue to speak out untl a fair work place is achieved. Good luck. Christ is with you.
