Question Concerning Translated TV Shows

Hey, guys,

I’ve been going back and forth about this for awhile. I watch a foreign television show, which is not aired in English or the United States but is released through Youtube. Fans have started translating it into English and will ask for donations in exchange for continuing their work.

Does watching this show constitute a sin? I struggle with scruplosity, so any exterior thoughts would be excellent.

If you struggle with scruples, the best place to go is to your Priest. Talk to him and follow his advice.

If ten people say it isn’t a sin but nine say it is, who do you believe.
With scrupulocity issues you need to form your own conscience, seek a trusted priest and a counselor if other things manifest themselves. And most importantly employ logic.

Actually, quite the opposite for one with scruples. As others have said - ask your priest.
