I have some questions I need to have anwsered for this study packet I have. Of course I also find the subject personally interesting.
What do you experience when you read the Scripture in church? I’m not aware of experiencing anything when I read - I’m usually concentrating too hard on what I’m doing
How do you prepare for the readings? **Those scheduled to read at the Vigil and Sunday Masses meet with our parish priest for about an hour in the week before and basically have a bible-study session on the meaning and context of the readings. We iron out difficulties of pronunciation and emphasis. Then some Lectio Divina, again using the readings. **
Why did you want to be a lector? I didn’t but was asked by our pastor who is a difficult man to say No to
