light, you never answered my question. If the quran doesn’t say how to do salat then how can you say it is commanded? It is the same idea, not everything is found in the quran. Therefore, the quran is incomplete.

Yeah, he’s dodging the question. Like I keep saying, Muslim apologetics are full of grossly obvious double-standards. They’re so full of half-baked arguments, but it seems they can dish it out better than they can take it.

Hello and peace be upon you all ,

I am new here, hope my participation will be valuable and informative
I have a question for brothers and sisters Christians:

Islam is based upon the monotheism tawheed that’s why we find it in many verses in the holy Quran in different forms like wahid, alahad, alwahid, etc…
I would like to ask our brothers, sisters Christians, as we know that the Christianity is based upon the Trinity, so why the “Trinity” word has not been mentioned in the bible neither in OT nor in the NT?.

Thank you all and peace be upon you all
The word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible. There.

Now what is your point?

FYI–At first glance, Islamic belief appears to be almost compatible with Christianity and/or Judaism. Often people claim that the muslims believe in the same God as the Christians. “They just don’t accept Jesus Christ”. However, as we shall see, the Muslim God is not like the Christian God. Islam rejects the biblical doctrines of The Trinity and the deity of Christ.
For the Muslim, Allah is the only true God. There is no such blasphemous thing as the “Trinity”. The Muslim God is unapproachable by sinful man, and the Muslim’s desire is to submit to the point where he can hold back the judging arm of Allah and inherit eternal life in an earthly paradise of gluttony and sexual gratification. Muslims have no concept of God as a loving and compassionate Father.
To the Muslim, God is not only a harsh, wrathful God, even though he is those things too. The Muslim considers his God loving and merciful, as Sura 11:90 says “Ask forgiveness of your Lord, then repent to Him; surely my Lord is All-compassionate, All-loving” other than this, there is not a single passage in the Quran that indicates that God loves any portion of mankind.
If god is the All-knowing, on what basis is there a need to substitute? Jesus said He did not come to destroy the law,but to fulfill it. (Matt:5:17).

If you’d like I will tell you six reasons why the Quran cannot be trusted.

Just my :twocents:

Your simple query produced no results.*

No, you can’t. That’s because our language includes different forms of grammar such as nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, and the list goes on.

“Christian” is in the Bible, so as the followers of Jesus grew in number, the word leapt into another form of grammar, “Christianity”.

Simple language structure. Nothing to do with God’s Word being translated wrong.

As for “Trinity”, we have shown you the concept of the Trinity, God as 3 and as 1.

How would you like us to express this concept?

Are we only to use literal words from the Bible?

So we have to say “God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are three seperate entities, and also 1 being” ??

Much simpler to condense it to one word don’t you think???

Just the same as the word “Bible” isn’t in the Bible, but it is much easier than saying " I think I will go buy new copies of the Books of Genesis, Job, Psalms, Matthew, Luke, etc etc etc …"

Do you think these words might apply on the Day of Judgment??😉

I feel so blessed to know that God has given me the grace to produce some results… now I need to follow through.as a Catholic.

I shudder to think of opting for another theology that would “simplyfy” religion and produces no results.

Thankfully our God is a merciful God, and will consider each of us on our own merits, and our own acceptance of Him.

Is there any Muslim who can comment about my post please??
Bella, I think you will be hard pressed to get any Muslim to answer your post because it does not have anything to do with this thread whatsoever.

IMHO.🙂

Well, whether or not it has to do with the post, there isn’t any one answering me. 🙂

Start a new thread on it and some may. You would be surprised. I usually find they look for those type of threads like hawks.

Just a thought bella.
