Eric P. “Hot water”? Please explain. I’m a convert of almost 4 1/2 years and don’t think I’ve ever heard that term used. (Oh, sorry, I just got it. I was taking you too literally instead of figuratively which is what you meant to convey.)
As a convert, here is how I look at it. Some of Catholicism can seem so strange and different, like a very hot bath - if you jump right in you can feel shocked and not at all comfortable. If you put in a toe, let that toe get accustomed to the water, then an foot, then up to the knee - gently easing your way in - soon you are in a relaxing hot bath!

I’m sorry I cannot suggest a book yet.

I do agree with others that a man must do this for himself. Like any resourceful woman, it should be easy enough for you to ‘help’ him realize that it was his idea after all.

As a non-catholic, Father Corapi hit a powerful nerve with me.

Being a former Baptist myself (starting RCIA this fall) I can agree with the above poster regarding “Crossing the Tiber” by Stephen K. Ray. He does an excellent job addressing questions that I had.
Also you might go to the Mary foundation. They have informative cd’s for a very small donation>
God bless you both.

***My first bit of advice is to know your faith and live it faithfully and fully.

Next, don’t push too hard. Trust in God. If he is wiling to attend RCIA and is being called to the CC, he will receive the information, the grace and the call through RCIA.

Answer any and all queations fully and honestly. If you don’t know the answer, ask it on the Forum and you’ll get whatyou need. BUT do not lie, or make up anything.

Allow the Holy Spirit to “do His Job” and pray, and pray!

IF HE INDICATES a desire for more information get with your priest for advice on how to proceed. All of the books mentioned have merit. But don’t force, let him ask;)

Love and prayers,***
