Since my grandson is a little on the short side (a side effect of some of his medications), having him receive at the beginning of the line should be easy to accomplish without drawing much attention to him. One of the ancillary effects of having multiple food allergies is always being different. You’re always the kid who can’t eat at parties, can’t have the cupcakes a birthday child brings into school, can’t go for ice cream with your Little League team. It would be nice if he could be just like his friends on his First Communion day.
And a pyx is a great and easy idea for the rest of the time.
Just as a point of information, sadly, hand sanitizer is not effective in dealing with food allergies.
