That was uncalled for.

So if I want to find out if I’ve ever had a Chinese ancestor, DNA can show definitively that I did NOT have such an ancestor, or could it only show that I did? The distinction, however subtle, is very important, and is what causes me to question you (and all others) who claim that DNA evidence definitively shows that Native Americans are not descended whatsoever from Israelites.
I do not claim it, but DNA scientists have. 🤷

It was uncalled for, my bad. DNA will show you your ancestors but if its not there then its not there.

No prob 🙂

DNA evidence can show that you (or populations) have inherited some DNA sequence or have not inherited it. It cannot “prove” that such a sequence was never historically in the gene pool.

We can use an analogy to an individual. I’ve been told that I have a grandmother with blue eyes. If we sequence my DNA looking for a blue eyed allele and do not find it, does that then mean the legends of my blue eyed granny are necessarily false? Why do you assume that haplotypes correlated to semitic ancestry must be present in an individual for the individual to have been descended from a Jew?

LOL.My grandma has blue eyes, blonds hair and is very fair skinned with freckles. You aint my primo are you? LMAO

No they are not liars.

Have you stopped beating your wife?
If they are not liars, then your church is false. Your church is based on Jesus (God) lying and saying they made a mistake the first time. So thanks for making my point. For Jesus said to Peter, You will be the rock on which I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail. Also, why would you ask if I stopped beating my wife yet? I dont beat my wife, she is Gods blessing to me.

Except for the LDS church to be true, God and Jesus must be liars
Yay! More base assertions without an actual argument! You’re CAF’s one-trick pony. I’ve seen on other threads you claim to be a lawyer. You must have quite the track record 🙂

But what TK and myself say is true. So your calling Them liars, yes?

That is not what my church is based on, anymore than yours is based on God “making a mistake” with Adam and Eve.

  1. Peter is not the Rock, neither is any so-called apostolic succession, rather the rock is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, something that has existed somewhere always at every time on the Earth.
  2. Hell’s gates did not prevail! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints exists, and is in full force. Christ’s Church won!
Also, why would you ask if I stopped beating my wife yet? I dont beat my wife, she is Gods blessing to me.
It’s a snarky way of saying that you’re asking leading questions.

Sigh. Ihave made the arguments and provided proof many times. No need to get personal

And for the record, since you decided to get rude. I am in bed sick typing on an iPhone. I am not gonna type long answers

If there is no succesion then your church is apostate also. You can twist the words anyway you want (Are you now a bird repeating otherss sayings?) Oh man, you are truly lost and have turned to the darkside. May the One True Living God have mercy on your soul.

(and we’re slowly changing that 🙂 )
Actually, while the number of official Mormons is increasing, active membership is on the decline. Hopefully the LDS faith will be a small remnant, or better yet, a memory in the next century or two.

It will never happen to the Lord’s Church
