No Dear, they are Jehovah’s Witnesses and Seventh Day Adventists. They all stem from the adventist craze of the 19th century…but all three of them have totally different histories, theology and founders.Oh,

No. SDAs are Trinitarian, and JWs (and Mormons) are not (among other differences). Perhaps it would be best if you went to the individual websites of each church that I linked to, or at least read the wikipedia entries on them.So then the JW and SDA are more or less the same then?

No…SDA’s have a distinctly Trinitarian belief system and theology. They believe they are the Remant Church…they believe that Christ entered the Heavenly Sanctuary in 1844 (I believe) to beging the investigative process of judgement (I think is how it’s phrased) before he returns.So then the JW and SDA are more or less the same then?
Jehovah’s Witnesses are not Trinitarian and believe Christ returned spiritually in 1914…his spiritual return ushered in “wars and rumors of wars” and will soon return to establish his millenial kingdom.
Both do not believe in consciousness after death…SDA believe the soul “sleeps” until the 1st resurrection…JW’s believe the soul dies along with the body…at the final resurrection those worthy will be “recreated” as imortal beings…and all who are not found worthy will “cease to exist”…“destroyed”…I believe the “cease to exist” is shared with the SDA…the nature of the soul/spirit is different between the two groups.
Both believe that Michael the archangel was the pre-exient Christ…but SDA’s are Trinitarian and believe in the full diety of Christ…JW’s believe Christ was God’s “First Creation”.

Yes I can see I am going to have to do that, So then the way I see it if I am correct the Mormons believe that Jesus and the devil are brother’s right? And there are plural god’s.
And the JW believe the Jesus and St Michael are the same person.
And the SDA (I am almost afraid to find out what the believe) But will check it out. But I thought they all went by the book of mormon.

Friends do not have a written creed. There are those in the Meeting I attend who are more Unitarian in belief than me. Others in my Meeting are Trinitarian…others believe that God was most fully revealed in Jesus of Nazareth and some how…some way…God entered our humanity through Jesus of Nazareth and now he was raised back into the Life of God.Oh Lord have Mercy
Most Friends probably would confess the diety of Christ…for those that can’t there is forebearance…but that forebearance runs both ways as I’m sure they show forebearance to those of us who do not share their belief on the matter…we all meet together to worship in the Divine Presence on First Day…God, Christ, Light Within, Inner Light, Holy Spirit, Spirit, Divine, Eternal are all finite expressions of the Eternal that is Wholly Other…yet bound to humanity in love.
We believe “that of God” is in each of us…and each of us must "work out our own salvation’ as the Light is revealed and understood…most often very imperfectly…“through a glass darkly”…but one day we will “know, face to face.” Then our questions will be answered fully.

Mormons tend not to outright say that Jesus (pre-mortally known as Jehovah) and Lucifer were spirit brothers. Mormons instead believe that we all lived with God in what is termed a “pre-mortal existence”, and that we are the literal spirit children of the Father (and Heavenly Mother). Jesus/Jehovah was the firstborn son of God. Lucifer was also one of the spirit children, who rebelled against God in the pre-mortal existence. Jesus is therefore our elder brother (since He is the firstborn of the Father’s spirit children), and since Lucifer was also a son of God, Jesus and the rest of us were also his brothers and sisters.

No the Society of Friends is not like “non-denom” fellowships. We do have a set belief…God is Present among us and we share in His life. The Light Within guides us into Truth. Christ is Present Teacher and Guide. No minister or priest is necessary as each of us share in the Priesthood of Christ and each of us has the capacity to minister to one another.
Since no prieshood is necessary…any rites or rituals or ceremonies are not required to be performed on our behalf or for us by anyone else as Christ has fulfilled all need for ritual requirements.
He is our Baptizer, our Priest, our Sanctifier and Present Teacher…He is the only Priest we need.

Okay, now I’m interested. Can anyone explain how that works? The idea that Michael is Adam and Gabriel is Noah. How does that work? Did they become angels after they died, or were they angels first, who then took on human form as Adam and Noah? Fascinating idea and I had never heard it before. Please share. Thanks!
