Question for Muslim!!

One day I saw my co-worker who is muslim and she is a female that she didn’t pray as usual. So I asked why in Islam, women don’t allow to pray (sholat) if they have their period.
and she answered that because on that time, women is not pure. Then I asked again do you believe that God created men and women equally? she said yes. Then I asked again so why women are called not pure when they have their period if you said God created men and women equally? and she couldn’t answer it.

So I need to know this answer from my felllow muslim:

1. Do you believe that God created men and women equally?
2. if Yes, then why women are called not pure when they have their period can’t pray?
3. is there any of time of men which will be called not pure and can’t pray?

An interesting point about the “[im]purity” of women is that, even, (as it may be presumed), in Christianity, women may not be free from accusation(s).

Consider:**

Revelation 14:4,

“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.”

**Yet, according to other New Testament scriptures pertaining to the development of Christian morality and theology, God may not endorse this [type of] viewpoint.

Sharia laws unlawful things for a menstruating woman (e10.7)

They cannot remain in the mosque - they can enter and leave the mosque but not by the same door, they cannot recite the Koran (but can invoke it),

(e13.4) When the bleeding is done she can fast, divorce, do purification rituals, pass through a mosque and until she performs a purification bath she is still impure.

There are just pages of junk that women have to abide by. It even goes into her washing her private parts if she discharges a lot, etc etc etc. It is just really obsessive about what is coming out of her and it is really beyond a woman’s control, it is just a fact of life. Allah made the female but just can’t handle what he did to her it seems.

Sharia laws = Reliance of the Traveller (traveller is misspelled on the book)

As a funny to show the obsessive nature of Sharia laws - if one is sleeping and something comes out of the mouth and is not from the stomach but from the saliva glands, then it is pure. (I think that Mohammed probably drooled when he slept so that is why it is ok )

it is easy to become a Muslim but one must become obsessive-compulsive to continue to be one.

An impurity - something that will cause a person to become ritually impure and require some type of ritual wash to make the individual ‘clean’ again.

1. Men and women are created with equal dignity. If you’re asking if men and women are the same, then no.

Start a new thread about the Jews and if I want to join in then I will. I didn’t read where ‘Jew’ was in the title of this one, or can’t you stay on the subject? I do not have a book on Jewish law with me because I don’t really care about it to tell you the truth.

If they were blowing people up because they were not Jewish while the ones who didn’t blow people up were trying to convince me how peaceful Islam is it would be a different story. Then I might look into their laws a bit more. For now I will stick to the topic and deal with that.

As long as they officially can perform ablution then they can pray any time.

It is admitted that during the period, the ladies are not in good health. It is not allowed in Islam to disturb them during those days, not to bother them or divorce them.

Such a condition of partial uncleanness had been fully recognised in the old Testament. I cannot see why a question had to be raised about it. Mary (the mother) remained in the temple until she came of age. After that, when she was about to start her menses, she had to leave the temple as per law of the Jews. She could not remain there inside to perform any duties.

The rule for Muslim ladies as for the menses is same as it was amongst the Jews. The Muslim ladies cannot touch the Quran during that period. They cannot perform the 5 daily prayers. They cannot fast. Otherwise they are not unclean. Gentlemen can kiss them. But there cannot be any intercourse during that period. It is strictly forbidden.

I hope there is nothing wrong in all those things for the Muslim ladies.

Show me in your Sharia laws where women are given equal rights in worth. I find that they can not give equal testimony in cases of law, and they are men’s property which means they are NOT worth the same. If they were equal in worth they could also be demanding that in Muslim lands where they are forbidden to go to school, that the men stop the practices if they are illegal. Especially these countries where women are not even allowed to go to men doctors and if they cannot go to school that means they will never have the opportunity to be a doctor.

You guys spend more time trying to convince us of things that are NOT in Sharia laws that it is quite laughable at times. If women are equal how come they are ‘honor killed’, or have to have 4 witnesses when they are raped? Whether men want to call it a rape if they don’t have the witnesses or not, if the women doesn’t have 4 others to help to testify that she was raped, then she never gets the chance. What law says that she has a right to NOT be pawned off at birth to some old goat of a man in marriage too?

And if she is equal then why do her children belong to her husband in the case of divorce? It should be arbitrated, but it isn’t.

You guys need to demand that Sharia laws are changed for all your claims to be believable. Because as it stands you are just wasting bits and bytes over false claims.

So you said that prayer is disturbing women? I don’t get it because prayer should be performed based what is in the heart. Noone can ask or force someone to pray or not to pray.

Planten, please don’t change the subject, I asked it based on Islams’ law not Jews’ law. I don’t discuss about Jews’ law.

I feel sorry for women if they couldn’t pray because of what the Law is. As I said that prayer is the way to build relationship with God, and noone can stop others if they want to pray.

Well, don’t hold your breath. These guys: , are having a blast right now.

What I have noticed they do is either ignore anything that is too hard for them to answer or just leave and hope the questions role off so they don’t have to look at them anymore. One, I think it is planten, just goes off into outer space with his answers.
